**Effective September 4, 2008, applicants requiring a business visa must have a letter of invitation from the employer in India**

India Tourist & Business Visa Requirements for U.S. citizens:

**Consular jurisdiction applies for Visas for India, which means that from our location in Chicago we can only process tourist and business India visas for the following states: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.

India Tourist Visa Requirements:

• Your valid, signed original passport

Must be valid for 6 months from the date of your application and have at least 2 blank visa pages inside of it.  The last 2 amendment pages are not acceptable.  Must be the actual passport, not a copy.

• 1 India visa online application form

**NOTE: This application must be completed and submitted online, then printed out and signed. (Click here for the application or go to our "Visa Services" page to download it.)

• 2 passport photos, 2 x 2 inches in size with full, front view of your face, on a light or white background

• Proof of address

Applicants must submit a photocopy with the proof of residence/address.  A photocopy of driver's license or utility bill is acceptable.  For minors, a parent or guardian's proof of address may be submitted instead.

• Consular fees (nonrefundable)

6 month multiple entry - $73.00
1 year multiple entry - $98.00
5 years multiple entry - $163.00
10 years multiple entry - $163.00

• Bucktown Visas & Passports Visa Order Form, completely filled out

Click on "Visa/Passport Order Forms" menu button to print one out. Our fees are located on the order form and are in addition to your Consular fees.

4. Proof of address
5. Your Consular fees (see our Visa Order Form for fees and types of payment)
6. Bucktown Visa Order Form
7. Your Bucktown expediting and return shipping fees (They are located on our order form and are in addition to your Consular fees).

We will email you as soon as we receive your documents, and we will email you again when we process them and ship them back to you.

 

India Business Visa Requirements:

        In order to request an India Visa, you must have a company letter on company letterhead, stating the dates applicant will be traveling, what type of business applicant will be conducting, etc., and the letter must be signed by someone other than the applicant
